发现你的骄傲: Monarch Orientation is a one-day on-campus orientation experience for new students. Parents, family members, and supporters are welcome to join. (六月中至七月)
Registration information will be sent to students who have completed all 让我成为君主 任务.
在 发现你的骄傲, students will build connections with your community, assemble and interact with your distinctive success team, and prepare for pathways to enrollment and engagement.
Check your ODU email for registration information. The cost for family participation is $50 per person and is due at the time of registration.

You can reschedule your 发现你的骄傲 date via the Reservation System, linked on your New Student Checklist in the myODU门户.

The fee for 发现你的骄傲 goes toward breakfast, lunch, programming, giveaways, and staffing. The student fee is $75 and is added onto your Fall 2024 tuition. 客人费是50美元. Guests can be added to a student’s reservation through the 发现你的骄傲 Reservation System.

Please note that due to student privacy concerns, we cannot allow family members to attend advising and course registration. 发现你的骄傲 is for confirmed Monarchs, so everyone you meet is planning to attend ODU! While 被录取的学生 Day provides an overview of ODU, 发现你的骄傲 is meant to help you build a success team to utilize during your time as a Monarch, as well as help prepare you for life on campus, including picking up your 君主ID and registering for courses.
Accommodations can be added to a student’s 发现你的骄傲 reservation. We will send out additional information for accommodations during the week leading up to your 发现你的骄傲 session.
If you have emailed your photo to cardcenter@dilidally.net, then you can pick up your ID during check-in at 发现你的骄傲. 如果没有，不要担心! 检查 卡中心网站 获取更多说明.
We request that you stay for the entirety of 发现你的骄傲. Our sessions were crafted with student success in mind, and the information they provide will help prepare you for life at ODU. 另外, in order to have your hold lifted to register for courses, you must check-in during the morning and during your group with your Monarch Orientation Leader.
We recommend that you bring a jacket or sweatshirt (it’s cold in Chartway竞技场!), an umbrella, comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, a bag, and a hat or sunglasses. 另外, make sure that you have your MIDAS ID, 密码, and UIN written down for course registration!
